Ramblings...

I'm going to go insane.. absolutely insane. I, for the life of me, cannot figure out WHAT in the world possessed me to open my mouth and promise a sequel to Jova in NWN2.

HAS ANYONE TRIED TO USE THAT TOOLSET?? ITS CRAZY!!

Unlike the first toolset, where it was possible to crank out a whole area within a matter of (single digit) minutes, this new toolset micromanages each and every aspect of the new game. Just a look at the new toolset gives me an instant knot in the pit of my stomach as my mind reels from INFORMATION OVERLOAD.

In fact, you guys have no idea how close you came to hearing that there would be NO next generation Jova. But we will overcome. We will rise to the occasion. You will have a gorgeous rendition of your beloved town if it kills me. And I think it will. I was measured for my coffin just yesterday after attempting to create the city itself. Hell, on day 1 with the toolset, after about 4 hours of trying to lay out the tavern, Jen came home and found me curled up in the corner mumbling something about wireframe and terraforming. It wasnt good.

So after a short stint in the mental hospital, I'm back and trying again; this time heavily medicated. Do you know how hard it is to do anything while in a straight jacket? We wont even discuss the bathroom situation....
